Please Tell us a bit about yourself.

I started Discus keep in the early 60's and bought my first Discus from a store in San Francisco name Nippons Goldfish.

Weekly rounds to aquarium stores was a normal thing to do and collecting more and more fish over the years.

Many of the stores in San Francisco were actually business doing tropical fish as a secondary income, these were such as Sing Lee Laundry and Victor Electronic Store,

other pet stores were located in off street such as Wentworth Pets and Far East Aquarium.

In the early 90's I headed the mentoring Discus Group at the San Francisco Aquarium Society(www.sfaquarium.org) at the California Academy of Science(www.calacademy.org).

Meanwhile my collection of fish became too large and the demand for Discus was at a peak, so finally I started my own business in 1999(Cliffsdiscus.com)

Since when did you started out as a professional breeder?

I started professional in the summer of 1999 not only as a breeder but also an aquarium service provider.

Can you tell us what are the strains that your are breeding?

Striated Turquoise, Brilliant, Fireworks(LSS), Eruptions F5, Pigeons(solid Reds), Albinos(Melon, LSS), RedSpottedGreen x Albinos.
